The Train Garden volunteers have been working hard at making this year’s 2025-2026 Highlandtown Train Garden a great success. These volunteers are Terry Maillar, Scott Eggleston, Mary Covacevich, Lily (Terry’s Great Grand Daughter), Doug Cambell, Ted Baccala and Joe Manfre.
Highlandtown Train Garden The train garden is located at Engine House # 41 at 520 S. Conkling St. It will be open from 11am to 5pm on the following weekends: Nov. 29 – Nov. 30, Dec. 6 – 7, and Dec.13 -14. And also, it will be open daily from Dec. 20 through Jan. 3 (closed Christmas Day). The Train Garden is open to the public and is free. Santa will be there on weekends until Dec. 20. On February 17, 2024 the 2023-2024 Highlandtown Train Garden volunteers met at Vinny’s Cafe for their Get Together. Everyone had an enjoyable time.
This year the Highlandtown Train Garden had 40 sponsors, almost 3400 visitors, which includes 1046 students from many of the surrounding schools. We wish to thank Engine House # 41, Southeast CDC, our sponsors, visitors, and especially our volunteers. See you next year!
